Students who have completed their secondary education in Kyustendil, to be admitted without entrance exams to the University of Library Science and Information Technology. This agreement was reached by the Municipality of Kyustendil and the Higher Education Institution, a reporter reported “Focus”.

Prof. D.Sc.Sc. Stoyan Denchev, long-time rector and now chairman of the Board of Trustees of the higher school and the current rector of the higher school Prof. Irena Peteva and Rumen Draganov – director of the Institute for Analyzes and Forecasts of the Information Environment in Tourism, held meetings with the students of the Professional High School of Tourism “N.Y. Vaptsarov” and Vocational High School of Economics and Management “Yordan Zahariev”.

They presented the majors in the universities and the opportunities for the future students, and within the month of May such meetings are to be held with the students of the Language High School “Doctor Petar Beron” and PMG “Prof. Emmanuel Ivanov”.

During the meeting with the students from the Vocational High School of Tourism, they were greeted by phone personally by the official minister of Evtim Miloshev, who wished them success in their future development. “Dear students, believe in your dreams and know that what you are aiming for is very promising globally, but above all in our country. Because our country has exceptional opportunities for the development of tourism potential. Trust the teachers si, respect the profession and may luck be with you!” said the caretaker minister of tourism. He expressed his joy at the opportunity to address the students, albeit by phone, and expressed his great desire to come to the place to meet with them.

The official Minister of Economy and Industry – Petko Nikolov, also addressed a personal greeting to the students of the Professional High School of Economics and Management “Yordan Zahariev”. He wished them to believe in themselves and confidently go towards their dreams.

“On behalf of the Municipality of Kyustendil, I thank the Acting Minister of Tourism Mr. Evtim Miloshev and the Acting Minister of Economy and Industry – Mr. Petko Nikolov for finding time to address you, the young people of Kyustendil, and with their words to motivate you – because motivation is the main engine for future development. I hope that the opportunities presented by colleagues from UNIBIT will also help you in making decisions for your future,” said Deputy Mayor Kristiyan Ivanchov, who was also present at the meeting with the students.
