During the April session of the local parliament in Kardzhali, the municipal councilor from “Democratic Bulgaria” Radoslav Milev proposed that the parking lot in front of the municipality building be included in the scope of the Blue Zone. In this way, employees in the White Ship will not be privileged over other Kardjalians who work in the paid parking areas and pay themselves.

The blue councilor asked to reduce the places needed for the administration – for the mayor and for the chairman of the municipal council, but the entire parking lot cannot be set aside for municipal administration.
Mayor Errol Mümün suggested to see how this case was solved in other cities – is there another city without a parking lot for the administration.

This is hardly the most interesting topic related to the Blue Zone. I claim that only official cars of the municipality are parked in front of the administration building. It is not pleasant when high-ranking guests come to search for drivers to move their cars to make room, the mayor explained.
The mayor wondered why no one asked about the parking lot in front of the regional administration and the police, but only the municipal one was discussed.
In the end, the blue councilor’s proposal was not accepted. 6 people voted for, and 35 – against.
