A children’s concert raised funds for the purchase of a laser scanner for the hospital in Veliko Tarnovo

A spring charity concert “From the children of Veliko Tarnovo for the children of Veliko Tarnovo” raised funds for the purchase of a laser scanner for the Department of Ophthalmology of the Multidisciplinary Regional Hospital for Active Treatment (MOBAL) “Dr. Stefan Cherkezov”.

This is what Rozalina Panova from the “Lions Club Veliko Tarnovo Yantar” said for BTA, which organized the event together with “Leo Club” and “Rally Dance School”.

BGN 7,400 was collected from the sale of tickets and from the sponsors of the event, which will be handed over to the management of the hospital after the Easter holidays. This is only a part of the donation, which will be in the amount of about 40,000 BGN, procured through various campaigns, she explained and recalled that last year, after such a concert, the organization donated a phototherapy lamp to the neonatology department at MOBAL.

105 children – singers, dancers and instrumentalists from Veliko Tarnovo and Gorna Oryahovitsa – took part in the concert, which took place in the “Konstantin Kisimov” Music and Drama Theater.

Representatives of the “Tarnovche” Children’s and Youth Dance Ensemble, the “Rally” Dance School at the Military Club in the old capital and students from the Emilian Stanev Secondary School performed. Kristina Encheva, Alexander Mominski, Vayana Nikolova, Antonia Wichenbecher, Alexander Karaboev and others took the stage. The deputy mayor of Veliko Tarnovo, Neiko Genchev, welcomed the attendees, and the organizers thanked the participants in the initiative.
