A drug dealer pleaded guilty, entered into an agreement with the District Prosecutor’s Office-Kardzhali

District Court – Kardzhali approved an agreement concluded between the District Prosecutor’s Office – Kardzhali and a defendant handed over to court for possession and distribution of narcotic substances

District Court – Kardjali approved an agreement concluded between the District Prosecutor’s Office – Kardjali, the defendant K.P.M., 33 years old, from the city of Kardjali and the defendant’s lawyer.

Pursuant to the agreement approved by the court, the defendant K.P.M. was found guilty of having, in the period from 30.05.2023 to 13.11.2023, under the conditions of a continuing crime, in the town of Kardzhali, without a proper permit under the Law on the Control of Narcotic Substances and Precursors, distributed and possessed with the aim of distributing a high-risk narcotic substance – hemp /marijuana, cannabis/, as follows: on 30.05.2023 in the town of Kardzhali distributed, by selling to another person a high-risk narcotic substance – hemp /marijuana, cannabis/, with a net weight of 0, 87 grams, and on 13.11.2023 in the town of Kardzhali, he possessed with the purpose of distribution a high-risk narcotic substance – hemp /marijuana, cannabis/, with a net weight of 2.93 grams.

For the committed crime, the defendant was sentenced to “imprisonment” for a term of eight months under the initial “general” regime of serving the sentence.

With the approved agreement, the court ruled that the defendant should serve, under the initial “general” regime, and the suspended sentence of “imprisonment” for a period of six months in another case of the District Court – Kardzhali.

The decision of the court approving the agreement is final, not subject to appeal and takes effect on the day of its approval by the court.
