Completely a new kindergarten will open its doors this fall in Varna.

This became clear after the Municipal Council gave its consent to opening of the children’s center at “Hushove” street No. 2 in the seaside town. The kindergarten will be able to accommodate 100 children in four age groups.

Another BGN 7.5 million for new kindergartens and schools

With its construction municipal gardens in the central Odessos region will become nine, which will allow coverage of more children with a permanent and current address in this part of the city.

The construction of the children’s institution started before several years and should end in August. The councilors agreed to provide part of the funds needed for the construction and major renovation of two schools, three childcare facilities and one dormitory in Varna.

The municipality will provide for the goal is more than 11 million BGN. Varna has approved projects under the program of the Ministry of Education and Science for the construction of a new building of a kindergarten in the district “Kaisieva gradina” and for a new building of kindergarten in Primorski district. 

The construction of the two sites will cost a little over 9 million BGN, of which about 6 million is a grant under the program, and the rest will have to be provided by the Municipality.

The funds for additional financing of the objects will be included in the municipal budget for 2025, but due to the deadline set by the Ministry of Education for confirmation – May 31, the proposal was voted on today.

The councilors also agreed to provide up to BGN 8.35 million for the period 2024-2026. for the implementation of five sites under the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability.
