Exclusively in “Today Bulgaria”: They are looking at the detention measure for suspects in the organized crime group with leader Dinko from Yambol

At this moment (2:00 p.m.) the Court of Appeals – Burgas is considering the remand order for the defendants Stoyko Kaludov and Grigor Gochev, a reporter of “Dnes Bulgaria” saw. The case is on appeal.

They were charged with participation in an Organized Crime Group (OCG), whose leader is Mr. Valev, better known as Dinko from Yambol. According to the State Prosecution, the organized crime group was created with a profit motive in order to commit crimes in concert on the territory of the country. The organized criminal group operated from October 2021 to April 16, 2024 – a crime under Article 321, Paragraph 3, Item 2 of the Criminal Code, the state prosecution reported.

According to “Today Bulgaria”, the two defendants, headed by the “patriot” and refugee hunter Dinko Valev, extorted drivers of cars transporting refugees. They demanded hefty sums to transport the vehicles to Dinko’s base.

Kaludov’s lawyer, Marina Angelova, confirmed to our reporter that Mr. Valev is the head of the organized crime group. She clarified that she is Stoyko Kaludov’s defender. At the moment, Mr. Valev is in the “Heart and Brain” hospital, where, according to him, he was admitted at the end of last week in a pre-infarction condition.
