In June and July, DUN dance school will take part in the world finals of the prestigious dance competition Dance World Cup in Prague. 30 children from the school will compete in the age categories Mini, Children and Juniors and in the competition styles Contemporary Dance, Dance Show, Jazz Dance, Character Dance, Lyrical. In order to get involved, however, they need serious financial support.

“In order to get the right to participate in the world finals, we successfully passed the Bulgarian qualification for the competition, where we won 17 participation quotas. The costs of participating in this prestigious competition are huge and the participation of all children is still in question.

We appeal to all residents of our city, as well as to those who know and appreciate our art, with a request for support. We need approximately BGN 12,000 to ensure our participation in the competition. These are the costs of just participating in the competition. Travel and accommodation expenses will be borne by the children’s parents.”

DUN Dance School has been developing its activities in Burgas for over 30 years, participating in numerous dance forums in Bulgaria and abroad. The school is the winner of prestigious awards from national and international competitions.

Dance World Cup is a global dance competition for children and teenagers up to the age of 25. The competition is organized by DWC Limited, a non-governmental organization registered under number 103706 in Jersey, Channel Islands. DWC Limited cooperates with associations, organizations and dance groups all over the world for the organization of local qualification competitions as well as for the holding of the great world final in dance art – Dance World Cup. Participants who have successfully passed regional qualifications by country are ranked at the world finals every year, and so every year at the end of June and beginning of July, over 12,000 participants from 38 countries from all over the world take part in the WORLD CUP. DANCE WORLD CUP is the largest and most attended dance competition with many competitive dance styles, including classical ballet, modern ballet, jazz and show dance, hip hop, character and folk dance, musical, tap and more. In order for a dancer/group to participate in the world competition, they must have passed local qualifications in their country and placed between 1st and 3rd in their respective age category and dance style.
