Talented high school children delighted the guests with their performances. With a guard of honor in front of the portrait of Ivan Rainov, appreciation was paid to the patron of the school. Ivan Rainov is the biggest donor to Yambol, with the funds bequeathed by him, a building of the educational institution was built, which still bears his name today.

This holiday is the most significant, the most exciting for us, because it is an occasion not only to take stock and look into history, but also to look to the future. For 77 years now, the Technical High School has been preparing students who are realized in all spheres of the economic, social, cultural and political life of the country”, stated the director of the high school, Emilia Kremukova.

She recalled that PTG “Ivan Raynov” was among the first to implement in practice the modern form of training characteristic of developed European countries – dual training. Partners of the school are some of the fastest growing companies both in the district and in the country. In her words, the Technical High School reveals the appearance of a modern and contemporary school, weaving in itself the threads of good practices of those who started and those who continue to build on it over the years, of innovation in teaching and the organization of the educational process.

In 2023 PTG “Ivan Raynov” received the status of Center for Excellence, which is the only one for the Yambol region. 14 modern classrooms will be set aside, and both students and teachers from the district will be trained in the Center. The high school will start the new academic year with a completely renewed and high-tech material base for all majors studied in it.
