The girls’ awards are equivalent to successfully passing a university entrance exam
Alexandra Alexandrova and Vasilena Getsova received their awards for their excellent performance at the second interschool competition “DesignPack”. The girls study in the professional class “Graphic Designer” at the “Emilian Stanev” University in Veliko Tarnovo and entered a competition with over 400 students from all over the country. Alexandra won first prize for design and logo, and Vasilena second prize for mounting and printing. The host of this year’s competition was the “Tsanko Tserkovski” Professional High School of Agrarian Technologies in Pavlikeni.
Although they are only in XI grade, the girls’ awards are equivalent to a successfully passed exam for the specialty “Digital and Conventional Printing Technologies and Design” at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia, which was a partner in the competition. Thus, if they decide to continue their education in Bulgaria, the girls will only have to pass the compulsory matriculation exams.
This is a great success for Alexandra and Vasilena, but our work does not stop here, next year we will participate in the competition again, assured their teachers Galya Georgieva and Ventsislav Tsonev.
