The “Dune” dance school from Burgas will participate in the world finals of the Dance World Cup competition in Prague

The “Dune” dance school from Burgas will compete in the world finals of the prestigious dance competition Dance World Cup in Prague in June and July, the team of the school in the seaside city reports. Thirty Dune alumni will compete against their peers from around the world in three age categories in the competition styles of contemporary dance, show dance, jazz dance, character dance and lyrical.
In order to get the right to participate in the world finals, the dancers of “Dune” successfully passed the Bulgarian qualification for the competition, where they won 17 quotas for participation. Now the school is organizing a charity campaign, with which it collects funds for the costs of all children’s participation in the competition, and apart from that, the parents have made a commitment to cover the travel and accommodation of their children, the school adds.
“Dune” Dance School has over 30 years of history and participation in numerous dance forums at home and abroad. He is the winner of prestigious awards from national and international competitions.
The Dance World Cup is aimed at children and young people up to the age of 25. Its organizer is DWC Limited, a non-governmental organization registered under number 103706 in Jersey, Channel Islands. DWC Limited cooperates with associations, organizations and dance groups all over the world to organize local qualification competitions, as well as to hold the great world final of dance art – Dance World Cup. Participants who have successfully passed regional qualifications by country are ranked at the world finals every year. Every year at the end of June and the beginning of July, more than 12,000 participants from 38 countries from all over the world compete for the World Cup. The largest and most attended dance competition features a variety of competitive dance styles, including classical ballet, modern ballet, jazz and show dance, hip-hop, character and folk dance, musical, tap and more.
