New babies are being enjoyed at the Burgas Zoo. Three variation squirrels were born. This is the second generation that has appeared, owner Krastyo Dubov told Gramofona News. An interesting fact is that one of the babies has an extremely rare reddish color.
“These are squirrels that have been selected for years. They are collectible species that do not exist in the wild and the colors are artificially created. For the first time, a squirrel with such a reddish color appears. He is not brown, but red. The color resembles that of squirrels in the desert. I hope we will keep it in the future as well”, said the owner Krastyo Dubov.
The new babies are about a month old and are emerging from their burrow for the first time.
“We only saw them two days ago. When they are born, they do not go outside because they are very small, about 2 centimeters. Therefore, we assume that they are about a month old”, explained Dubov.
The other two squirrels have the selected color of white and black. The new babies will be among the favorites of Burgas zoo visitors because they are beautiful and sociable lives.
