Since the beginning of the school year, the number of children waiting for admission to the nursery school group at the “Snezhanka” – Ruse school varies between 16 and 31 children, who remain unaccepted. The overall analysis of the rankings in one calendar year shows that, on average, 27 children of nursery age remain outside the nurseries and 19 outside the nursery groups of the kindergartens, due to the lack of free places. On the territory of the neighborhoods “Enchantress” and “Friendship” 3 operate two daycare facilities for children of nursery age – Kindergarten “Snezhanka” – Ruse with one nursery group and Nursery No. 6 – with three groups, the capacity of which is not sufficient to cover the children whose parents have submitted applications for admission. The total number of children currently waiting for the two neighborhoods is 64, with 32 children waiting for Nursery No. 6 and 32 for the nursery group in DG “Snezhanka” – Ruse. The parents of six of

children waiting for classification have submitted applications for admission to a nursery school and for a nursery school group at a kindergarten. In these neighborhoods there are three kindergartens attended by 838 children. Today the Municipal Council – Ruse gave its consent for the Municipality of Ruse to open a crèche group for children from 10 months to three years of age, at the “Snezhanka” Kindergarten – Ruse, with address: quarter “Friendship” 3 behind block 4, as of 15.09.2024.

There is also an increase in the number of freelancers at the Regional History Museum – Ruse. The management of the museum feels the need for more employees to be involved in maintenance of expositions – open and closed, as well as tour guides. The open areas of the Medieval City of Cherven, Sexaginta Prista and the areas in Ivanovo. The nine expositions of ROME – Rousse need maintenance, tour guides and hygienists, as the flow of visitors requires increased attention, and staff are expected to be hired for seasonal work in connection with tourist visits. Today, the Municipal Council – Ruse gave its consent to increase the number of freelancers of the Regional History Museum – Ruse by 4 at the expense of the museum’s own income.

The Annual Plan of activities for support for personal development for 2024 for the implementation of the Municipal strategy for support for personal development of children and students in Ruse Municipality (2023-2024) was also approved. The strategic document is consistent with the operational goals and measures set in the municipal strategy, based on the analysis of the needs for support for the personal development of children and students in the Municipality of Ruse. The annual plan for 2024 has been agreed with the head of the Regional Department of Education – Ruse. The document describes the activities and expected results, deadlines, funding and responsible institutions at the local level for providing support for personal development, described in the perspectives of the Municipal Strategy, based on the conclusions of the analysis, strategic and operational goals, necessary measures and activities in the area of ​​support for the realization of the set goals.
