Silistra joined the “Bulgaria sings” initiative

For the eighth time, the “Bulgaria sings” initiative was held, the work of the Bulgarian Choral Union.

People’s Community Center “Dorostol” also showed sympathy for her this year through its compositions “Sedyanka” Mixed Choir and “Zlatna Esen” Group for Old Town Songs and Hits. Guests in the program: performers from the “White, Green, Red” Vocal Group at the Silistra Youth Center and the “Dobrich” Mixed Choir at the “Yordan Yovkov” Primary School – Dobrich. Songs by composers from different countries were performed. On the eve of their next performances – on May 19 in the city of Chernavoda, Romania, and on May 30-31 – the celebration of “130 years of choral singing in Silistra”, Sedenkari presented their latest song “Dumba” by the composer Georgi Petkov. Part of the song celebration was also the celebration of the 30th year of the group for old city songs with current leader Yordan Zdravkov Georgiev.
