A man from the Plovdiv village of Tsalapitsa thought he was a “tarikat”, but cameras captured his absurd actions. Footage published on a Facebook page shows the man stealing two sacks of potatoes from an 86-year-old saleswoman, but on the video she can be heard declaring that she only wants and pays for one of them, writes TrafficNews.bg.

You pay 2, you get 4: A camera captured how a “tarikat” from a Plovdiv village steals potatoes from TrafficBul on Vimeo.

The social media status was posted by a woman who claimed the Apache paid for two sacks of potatoes but got four. The actions are also confirmed by the attached footage. The video also shows him entering a room where an 89-year-old woman is selling sacks of potatoes and other vegetables. He can be heard saying to the old woman – “Give me another one”, leaving a certain amount. After approaching the sacks, however, the man grabs two and leaves the room satisfied.

He is probably coming back for a second purchase, having previously used the same scheme to con the poor woman. In the Facebook status, it is written that there is other evidence against the man who committed the brazen theft.

“Sir, aren’t you ashamed to steal from an 89-year-old woman????? Don’t you have morals? How do you pay for 2 sacks of potatoes and get 4???? Something doesn’t work out?????? You know, I have more evidence,” the status also reads.
