Heavy hail and torrential rain hit the central and southern parts of the country this afternoon. It hindered the movement of cars on the “Trakia” highway in the region of Stara Zagora and Plovdiv. And the torrential rain in Kazanlak turned the city’s streets into rivers.
A yellow code for intense rainfall and thunderstorms has been announced for 12 regions of Western Bulgaria. Our viewer in “Moyana Novina” also sent a signal of heavy hail. The streets of Kaloyanovets turned white from the ice chunks.
The village of Samuilovo in Stara Zagora was seriously affected by the ice chunks.
