A five-member jury chaired by Prof. Penko Gospodinov, deputy rector of NATFIZ “Krastyo Sarafov” will evaluate the performances in the “Review of performances” direction and the texts in the “Author’s reading” direction, which have been selected in the 33rd edition of the “Drumevi Theatrical” festival holidays”.
The members of the jury are the actress Stefani Lecheva, the director Blagoi Boychev, the director of the theater in Dobrich Stefan Spasov, the puppet director Maria Banova.
This was announced at a press conference today by the director of the DKT “Vasil Drumev” Iliya Videlinov, the chairman of the association “Drumev Theater Holidays” Kiril Kirilov, the playwright Desislava Vasileva, Katerina Simeonova – PR of the theater.
The “Drumevi Theater Holidays” festival is traditionally held from May 11 to 16 in Shumen. Its official opening will take place on May 11 at 6:00 p.m. in front of the theater, and on the last day of the festival, when the jury will announce the awardees, there will be a concert by the band “Ostava” starting at 8:30 p.m.
“The program of both the main and the accompanying festival is very colorful and diverse. For the first time in Shumen, there will also be a performance for babies. This is “Yellow”, which will be in the accompanying program, there will be exhibitions and screenings of performances that, for various reasons, could not be presented on stage this year,” said Iliya Videlinov.
We remind you that 15 performances have been selected in the main program of the festival, 5 of which are the texts in the “Author’s Reading”.
Tickets for the shows are now on sale. They can be purchased from the theatre’s box office, online from its website. This year, the hosts are offering a package ticket for all events and performances of the “Drumevi Theater Holidays” worth BGN 100. In addition, schoolchildren and students will have free entry to the performances, but only if there are seats left.
