The schools of Stara Zagora municipality can nominate up to 3 of their students from 1st to 12th grade with achievements in regional, national and international mathematics competitions until April 30, 2024.
The successful performances in the field of mathematics for many students from the municipality of Stara Zagora of regional, national and international events in mathematics brings great satisfaction not only to the students, to the organizers, but also to the entire public related to mathematics in our city.
All this gives reason for the 3rd consecutive year Foundation “Mathematics Without Borders” and former students of the High School Center for Mathematics and Informatics in Stara Zagora and elite Stara Zagora schools, on the eve of May 24 – Day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture, and of Slavic literature to organize awarding of students from the municipality of Stara Zagora with achievements in regional, national and international competitions in mathematics.
Schools from the municipality of Stara Zagora can nominate up to 3 of their own by April 30, 2024 students from 1st to 12th grade with achievements in regional, national and international mathematics competitions.
In the nominations, the best achievements at the regional, national and international level of the nominees should be noted.
All nominees will receive a certificate of achievement, a former math contestants and informatics from Stara Zagora will present personal awards to the best. As in 2022 and 2023, a special poster featuring the “stars” of 2024 will also be printed.
In the previous two editions, prizes worth BGN 18,000 were provided by former competitors in mathematics, informatics and mathematical linguistics Velina Slavova, Desislava Spiridonova, Assoc. Evgeni Genchev, Siyana Yancheva, Stanimir Boychev and Stanimir Kostov. The organizers expect that their example will be followed by other Olympians.
