“Yordan Yovkov” School became a participant in a forum for innovations in education

New life

In implementation of the National Program “Innovations in Action” of the Ministry of Education and Culture, a forum for innovations in education was held in the city of Smolyan, where SU “Yordan Yovkov” – Kardzhali presented innovative experience and shared working models for environmentally friendly business.

In front of teachers and students from 32 schools from 6 districts in the country, pedagogical specialists and representatives of higher schools and scientific institutes, Mrs. Galina Popova presented presentations on the topic “Project-based training for environmentally friendly business”. The laureate of many national and international contests, competitions and conferences – Melin Veli from the 12th grade, “Entrepreneurial” profile presented his author’s work on artificial intelligence and the transformation of education.

The event for sharing good innovative practices was hosted by the “Karl Marx” Vocational High School of Economics – Smolyan, with the assistance of RUO – Smolyan. The forum’s program featured creative workshops in which pedagogical practices for learning by doing and experiencing were shared. The forum became a fruitful meeting between innovative schools in the region, which through modern solutions transform traditional practices into successful educational innovative models.
