Buses on line number 1 stopped traveling along “Alexander Stamboliyski” Blvd. in the section between “Dimitar Talev” and “Stefan Stambolov” Streets
Drivers refuse to drive on this route because the gaping holes at the intersection with “Stefan Stambolov” street.
Buses go directly along “Nikola Vaptsarov” Blvd.
“They are breaking the buses, we warned the Municipality of Plovdiv, and this morning we sent a letter with a warning that we will not run the route in this section”,
explained for “Maritsa” Kostadin Totkov, traffic organizer in the company “Avtobusni prevozes”.
There is no message from the Municipality of Plovdiv to the media and the problem remains silent.
The problem is big, because a bypass collector is being installed on “Alexander Stamboliyski” blvd., the work is going very slowly and has disturbed the neighborhood.
The repair was completed in only one section, at the intersection with “Stefan Stambolov” street, 20 meters were left where no repair was started. The section is without asphalt and the craters are getting bigger every day.
The reconstruction is carried out by the Sofia consortium “Eco project” under a contract with V and K EOOD.
The same contractor is also preventing traffic on the new Moder – Tsarevets underpass, which has been completed for two months.

For more than a month and a half, since the unit once again partially passes along Yuzhen Blvd., which is under repair, buses have been constantly crashing along the “moonscape” shown in the photo material and video.
After numerous signals from the management of the transport company, the institutions point to the contractor of the Project as being responsible for the infrastructure. So, for almost two months now, no one can be found to bring a section of the boulevard, no more than thirty meters long, into an acceptable and safe form!
Unfortunately for passengers, there is a high probability that the route of Bus Line One will be returned to Vaptsarov Blvd., in the event that the section along Yuzhen Blvd. is not made suitable for the safe movement of public transport buses.
