--

Verzhin Hugasyan was sworn in today as a municipal councilor in Pazardzhik. She takes over from Tanya Kolchakova-Yaneva from PP-DB, whose mandate was prematurely terminated after her appointment as deputy mayor of Pazardzhik municipality. Verzhin Hugasyan will also take over the activities of Tanya Kolchakova-Yaneva in the permanent committees “Legality” and “Finance, budget, European programs and funds, international cooperation and investment policy”.

Two other councilors announced that they are leaving the parliament with groups and remain in the OB as independents. An application for this was submitted by Kiril Andonov. He was on the list of MK “Agricultural People’s Union”. He did not give reasons for leaving the political organization.

Desislava Georgieva is leaving Vazrazhdane, remaining an independent municipal councilor. In her application, she again points out that she was pressured by Stoyan Taslakov to vote in a way that was not always in the interest of the party’s electorate. Recently, Georgieva, who was the chairman of the municipal structure of “Vazrazhdane”, announced that she was leaving the party and dissolving its local structure.
