From today until April 30, residents of Ruse will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of Easter by purchasing handmade souvenirs and ornaments from the charity stand of “Caritas” Ruse. The stand is located in the lobby of the “Lyuben Karavelov” Regional Library and will be open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The products offered are made by children and adults visiting the various social service complexes of “Caritas” ruse: Day Center for Children with Disabilities “Mercy”, Center for Public Support “Tom Sawyer” and Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of Homeless Persons. Under the guidance of art therapists and social workers, they have invested in their creations not only skill, but also a lot of love and attention.
All proceeds from sales will be used to support the many causes of “Caritas” rusetargeting the poor, the weak and the needy.
“Caritas” ruse is a Catholic charity that has been working for years to improve the lives of the most vulnerable groups in society. The organization offers a wide range of services, including material assistance, social support, education and training.
