MBAL-Pazardzhik received a large donation from the “ADRA-Bulgaria” foundation. It includes 33 hospital beds with mattresses for them, a gynecological examination chair, 30 bedside tables, 3 medicine cabinets, blankets, pillows, dressing materials, medical masks and gloves, and other consumables, the Executive Director of the hospital Dr. Krasimir Temnilov and the mayor of the Pazardzhik municipality, Petar Kulenski, welcomed the executive director of ADRA-Bulgaria, Marian Dimitrov, and Walter Maher, former director of the ADRA Foundation in Austria, with whose help the donation was realized.

“The donation is specially intended for MBAL-Pazardzhik. It comes from Austria, from a state hospital in Salzburg, with which we have been working for a long time. We chose this time to support the regional hospital in Pazardzhik. Thank you for the good cooperation of the Pazardzhik municipality, with whom we also collaborate on other projects. ADRA-Bulgaria is a major donor of hospital beds to major hospitals in the country, as well as many other things for the Healthcare sector. We are always ready to come to the aid of the more vulnerable groups. In the Pazardzhik region, this is the largest hospital with an Emergency Department, and after our research, we realized that it is here that the beds need to be replaced. The ones we donate I think will last a long time because they are comfortable and electric. We are making this donation with great concern and empathy for the people of Pazardzhik, and we will be happy to cooperate in the future,” said Marian Dimitrov when handing over the donation.
Mayor Petar Kulenski thanked the donors from the hospital in Salzburg and ADRA-Bulgaria, for making the donation a reality today.

Thanks to this donation, MBAL-Pazardzhik will be supported. I understand that the beds will go into immediate use in various wards where there is a need to replace the older beds. I welcome the efforts of the hospital’s management to continuously develop, invest in improvements, renew the equipment and the building stock, so that the patients of the hospital receive truly quality services,” said Mayor Petar Kulenski.

The executive director of the hospital, Dr. Krasimir Temnilov, presented a letter of thanks to the donors and expressed his gratitude to the entire management of MBAL-Pazardzhik to the “ADRA-Bulgaria” foundation for the delivered hospital beds and consumables.
“Every medical institution needs to renew the bed fund, and medical consumables are a daily routine for the hospital. I express my immense gratitude to the donors. I also thank the mayor of the Pazardzhik municipality, Mr. Petar Kulenski, for his empathy and assistance in receiving the donation. We are glad that there are such good-hearted donors.
