With BGN 314,000 from the municipal budget of Stara Dagora, they transformed the courtyard of the garden

The guest of honor of the “Kyparis” Kindergarten in Stara Zagora today was its popular graduate – Stara Zagora native Stefan Valdobrev – actor, composer, musician, singer and film director, the municipal press center reports. The reason for the visit was the celebration with which the renovated courtyard of the children’s institution was opened. It started with a hymn that Valdobrev wrote especially for his kindergarten.

“You made me feel very special during this hour and a half, writing an anthem may sound very special, but what you did is no less unique. You spent the entire celebration without microphones, which is a sign that at least half of these brave children will become actors or singers with their native Stara Zagorje voices,” the actor predicted.

“Many memories flood me, how my mother picks me up after work with a cheek swollen from an uneaten bite that I refuse to swallow all day. But don’t worry, parents, see that after only 50 years, things fall into place,” he exclaimed jokingly Valdobrev, patting his stomach. Among his fond memories of this yard is how he kissed Galya from the fourth group on the cheek, who gave him a hedgehog key ring.

Today’s celebration in the transformed courtyard of kindergarten 23 “Kyparis” in Stara Zagora was held under the title “Joy and Smiles”. The renovation was carried out from mid-August to December last year, for which BGN 314,000 was allocated from the budget of the municipality of Stara Zagora Zagora. “We couldn’t make a nice opening in the winter, we waited for the weather to lend a hand,” explained the director of the garden, Maya Neicheva. She has been in charge of the children’s institution for 32 years – since 1992. The garden itself was opened 53 years ago, and an interesting fact is that for this long period of time there were only two female directors, both with the surname Neicheva.

Deputy Mayor of the municipality Nadezhda Chakarova and Stefan Valdobrev shared exciting memories during their meeting. “We have known each other for more than 30 years, we were classmates and graduates of Romain Rolland High School, I am a living witness of his entire development,” noted Nadezhda Chakarova with pleasure. welcomed and we have kept great memories and sincere friendship,” she said with a smile.
