Petar Yanev’s bagpipes and Trakia ensemble” took part in the multimedia show under the open sky
Albena Kindergarten celebrated its half-century anniversary with an impressive multimedia show. The event was hosted by Plovdiv STAGE PARK. Kolyu Ficheto’s vow “Don’t build so many walls to divide you, but more bridges to bring you together!” was a main emphasis in the plot of the open-air performance, recreated through the art of dance.
Special guests at the celebration were the musicians from the pipe band “Orfikus” led by Petar Yanev. Children and guests wildly applauded the virtuosos who conquered the open stage. The professional dancers from the folklore ensemble “Thrakia” also created a sensation among young and old with the performance of “Thracian Dance”. They responded to the invitation of the music teacher Kinche Yonkova – screenwriter, director and choreographer of the show.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary with the children were the mayor of the “South” district – Atanas Kunchev and his deputies, Petya Sharkova – chief expert “Education and Culture” and Evtimiya Parvanova – chief expert Ecology.
The director of the “Albena” kindergarten, Violeta Dimova, thanked the children, parents and teachers, as well as the former colleagues and directors, for having left a part of themselves to make the children’s institution what it is today.
At the end of the concert, balloons in the colors of the tricolor flew into the sky, released by the current director Violeta Dimova and her predecessor Slavka Poneva, handing over the “Bridge to Generations” scroll.
