The repaired lane on Pannonia Boulevard in Vidin is now open to traffic. Will the traffic be eased and are the residents of Vidin happy with the repairs and are they finding their way in the new environment?
“People are used to it, I see that there is a traffic police car that stops them in the right lane… Of course, since it’s new, it’s more convenient. You couldn’t drive here before… As I look, they’re already getting their bearings the drivers. I don’t hear horns, so they’re navigating well… It’s definitely better. This “animal” bike lane in Vidin won’t be, but let’s hope that everything will be okay,” they told the Radio Vidin team residents of Vidin.
The repair of the other lane of the boulevard is about to begin soon. It is the intention of the contractor to renovate it in stages, with individual sections being closed one at a time so as not to cause too much traffic congestion.
