The admissions plan for students after completing basic education for the 2024-2025 school year for the Kardzhali region has already been approved. High school applicants will compete for admission to 48 classes in schools across the district. This was announced by the head of the Regional Department of Education, Angelina Kostova:

“…Out of a total of 48 classes after completing primary education, we have 43.5 full-time education classes and 4.5 dual-education classes. These halves are because in some vocational high schools we have one class in which one half is full-time and the other half is a dual form of education. And the specificity of the dual form is that it allows for a smaller number of students, which is associated with the signing of contracts with employers.”

The order has been uploaded to the website of the Regional Department of Education in Kardzhali and has been sent to all school principals, who are obliged to publish it on the school websites, specified Angelina Kostova. She added that there is a table attached to it, which describes everything that students and parents need to know about applying after 7th grade – number of classes, number of majors, schools implementing the admissions plan, prom-forming subjects, etc.
