Blagoevgrad once again has a reason to be proud, 16 athletes from the club “Folkan” – Blagoevgrad are medal winners of the European Taekwondo-Do ITF Championship, held in the city of Koper, Slovenia.

Before the start of the regular session of the Municipal Council – Blagoevgrad, an awarding ceremony was held. The athletes were greeted with thunderous applause by the municipal councilors and citizens present in the hall. Todor Kozladerov’s boys received letters of invitation from the mayor of Blagoevgrad municipality Metodi Baikushev, the chairman of the Municipal Council Radoslav Taskov, Stanislav Kimchev – deputy mayor for culture, sports and tourism and Blagovest Stoitsov, chairman of the Commission for Children, Youth, Sports and Tourism and work with non-governmental organizations at the Blagoevgrad Municipal Council.

1. Lubomir Bakalski – sparring up to 71 kg.

2. Kiril Iliev – sparring up to 58 kg.

3. Nikolay Petkov – sparring over 92kg.

7. Lubomir Drakaliyski

8. Rami Shaw

9. Neli Todorova – sparring girls up to 55 kg.

10. Hana Koshutarska – sparring girls over 55kg.

11. Dragomir Palankaliyev – men’s sparring up to 78 kg

12. Alexander Mihailov – sparring juniors up to 69kg

13. Nikolay Angelov – sparring juniors up to 63kg.

14. Christian Ranchov

15. Deyan Valev – junior team sparring – bronze

16. Georgi Ridarski – team sparring and team special technique – senior juniors – bronze

17. Todor Kozladerov – senior coach of the national team
