A driver and his passenger were injured yesterday in a traffic accident around 17:30 in the area of ​​the village of Shiroko Pole. A 39-year-old with an Audi when turning in the opposite direction did not miss the Volkswagen and a collision ensued. Injured: the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen and his 17-year-old passenger. After an examination in the Emergency Department, the driver was placed under observation in the hospital, and the minor was released. No alcohol use was detected. The incident was processed administratively with an act under the Civil Code. Around 10:00 a.m. in Kardzhali, a 56-year-old man lost control of a Mercedes truck, the car entered a dividing line on the roadway, knocking down metal links and pegs. The driver tested negative for alcohol with a technical device. An act under ZDvP has been drawn up.

Fast-track proceedings were initiated in RU-Kardzhali for driving a car after consuming alcohol. Shortly before 8:00 p.m. yesterday, in the village of Visegrad, police officers checked an Opel car with a 52-year-old driver. The alcohol test carried out with a technical device reported 2.03 per thousand. The driver accepted the doctor’s testimony and refused a blood sample for chemical analysis. He was detained for up to 24 hours at the police station.
