On April 27, the XIX edition of the National Festival for young performers of popular music “Color Tuning” begins. A record 95 children will take part in the two-day event.

The festival has a competitive nature and aims to stimulate young performers and strengthen their taste for both native and world popular music. Individual artists participate in “Color Tuner”, and the condition is that they perform 2 songs – one necessarily in Bulgarian and one song of their choice. The participants are divided into 4 age groups and in each of them there are cash prizes. The grand winner is awarded the “Colored Tuning Fork” Grand Prix – a statuette and a cash prize of BGN 500. Awards will also be presented by CPLR – Children’s Complex-Sliven, the regional governor, RUO-Sliven, ODMVR-Sliven, RB “Sava Dobroplodni”, RIM “Dr. Simeon Tabakov”. 12 incentive prizes will be awarded for fourth, fifth and sixth place in each age group, as well as 4 “kids’ jury” prizes.

The performances of the performers will be evaluated by a jury composed of Haigashod Agasyan, Tedi Katsarova and Atanas Stoyanov from “BG Radio”. The festival is organized by the Municipality of Sliven and the Support Center for Personal Development – Children’s Complex-Sliven.
