The manager of the National Health Insurance Fund Momchil Mavrov will sue Lena Borislavova for defamation. The occasion – the words and addressed to him, uttered on the air of BTV.
“At the moment, Mr. Zhelyazkov, instead of acting as dictated by the height of his post, fulfilled the order and instruction of Peevski and Borisov. It was in this way that some 8 billion BGN ended up in the hands of Mr. Mavrov,” Lena Borislavova from PP-DB pointed out.
“The problem is not only that he was elected only with the votes of Vazrazhdane and not with those of PP-DB. The problem is that this is a person who is known to have files and folders in the prosecutor’s office and in DANS,” she also stated.
“What I can say is that her words are just a lie. There are no pre-trial proceedings against me. If there had been one, at the very least I would have been invited for questioning. What’s more, I would have been charged,” said Prof. Momchil Mavrov.
“I think as early as the fall of 2023, it became clear that an anonymous tip had been filed against me, which had been investigated and the file on it had been closed. That’s the end of it all. Today’s words of Mrs. Borislavova leave me with no other choice but to file a defamation case against her,” said the manager of the NHIF.
