Evtim Miloshev: Cultural tourism is worth developing independently – From the day

The Ministry of Tourism, municipalities and tour operators are developing programs with which, through joint financing, they can promote Bulgaria for the development of various types of tourism. One of the highlights is cultural tourism, said the acting Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev at a meeting with the tourism business in Veliko Tarnovo.

These programs are already running along the Black Sea, they are yet to be developed for cultural tourism and to enter the interior of the country, and not to redirect tourists from the Black Sea, pointed out the responsible minister Evtim Miloshev:

“Rather, we are talking about tourists who will consume cultural tourism in itself, and not tourists who went to rest at the sea, to bring them here. Tarnovo and cultural tourism in general is something that is worth independently is developing. It is not a tourist that we will bring to the sea, but we will take it to the Rhodopes, Tarnovo or Vidin”.

The meeting hosted by the mayor of Veliko Tarnovo, Daniel Panov, was attended by the High School of Tourism and the two universities in the city, and the tourism business pointed to the lack of staff as the main problem.

The official Minister of Tourism opened this evening in Veliko Tarnovo the guest presentation of the “Sofia Film Fest”.
