The project of the Municipality of Tervel for the renovation of the premises of the nursery in the town of Tervel has been approved for implementation in this year’s campaign of the “Beautiful Bulgaria” program.
With funding from it and its own funds, the Dobruja municipality will make a new laminate parquet floor in all rooms, completely renew the sanitary facilities and wet rooms, replace all doors and glass partitions with new ones made of PVC and aluminum profiles, plaster and paint all the premises in the children’s facilities.
According to the rules of the funding program, during construction, in addition to the personnel of the company – contractor, unemployed persons employed by the Labor Bureau in the town of Tervel must also take part.
The total budget of the construction project is BGN 234,960 including VAT.
The two-story building was built more than fifty years ago and has been used as a nursery since then. It has been renovated, replacing the window frames of all external enclosing elements, thermal insulation has been laid on the walls. A major repair of the roof was carried out, the yard space was landscaped. Measures for an accessible architectural environment have been implemented. The interior elements of the building have not been changed since its construction until now – more than 50 years.
From 2016 until this year, Tervel Municipality has not missed a year in which it did not apply to the “Beautiful Bulgaria” Project. A total of 9 municipal projects were approved and implemented in this period, incl. and in 2017 – two project proposals. This year will be the tenth consecutive project under the program. Tervel Municipality has been working with the “Beautiful Bulgaria” Project since 2006 and in the past has also received support for various small-scale renovation works. Some of the significant objects that received the support of the program are the municipal museum, the large city fountain, the church “Saint Great Martyr George the Victorious” in the town of Tervel, the rehearsal halls of the community center and many others. To date, in retrospect of the dozens of projects implemented with the support of the “Beautiful Bulgaria” project, the largest amount – BGN 250,000 – was received by the municipality for the rough construction of the church in the town of Tervel in 2009.
