Five partnership agreements between Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be signed during the visit of President Rumen Radev to the UAE. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kostadin Kojabashev, at a briefing in the department today.
President Roumen Radev is on an official visit at the invitation of the President of the UAE and Emir of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov is also in the president’s delegation, noted Kodjabashev.
Minister Milkov will sign three strategic partnership agreements between the governments of Bulgaria and the UAE, for cooperation in the fields of education and culture, as well as for cooperation in the fields of agriculture and tourism.
In the presence of the two presidents – Rumen Radev and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership between Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates will be signed, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding for the exchange of news and cooperation between the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency and the Information Agency (WAM) of the UAE.
The focus of the talks is expected to be a number of topics of common interest and areas of bilateral partnership such as mutual investment in high technologies and energy, economic cooperation, Deputy Minister Kodjabashev also said.
