Ancient Egypt will come to life in the center of Burgas. This will happen today, September 2nd, when the square in front of the State Opera House in the seaside city will become the arena for the themed “Evening of Egypt”.

From 17:30 to 21:00, in the garden in front of the Opera, there will be a bunch of interesting surprises. Doors will open papyrus painting studios. In addition, every willing visitor will be able to take an unforgettable attractive photo with themed Egyptian clothing.

The dance school “Beli Dance” – Burgas will present traditional Egyptian folklore – “Balady” style – one of the most popular and widespread variants of the classical oriental dance; and also the attractive folk dance with a bamboo stick in the “Saidi” style. Burgazlii will see an impressive and magical modern interpretation with the “wings of the goddess Isis”; gentle, sensual and enchanting dance with veils.

In addition to painting and dancing, there will also be culinary surprises, the organizers say. Chef Mahmoud Al Bairumi will present signature dishes from Egyptian cuisine.

Residents and guests of Burgas will be able to taste delicious traditional dishes on the spot. Among them will be traditional falafel, kushari (rice, lentils, pasta with garlic tomato sauce and onion chips), hummus and the basposa dessert.
