With his order, the mayor of Blagoevgrad Ilko Stoyanov determined the places where it is allowed to place campaign materials in connection with the upcoming elections for people’s representatives, scheduled for October 2, the municipal press center reported.
It is permitted to campaign with posters on the billboards in front of the Nikola Vaptsarov Drama Theater and in front of the 22 September Hall, on the railing of the underground garage at the Regional Health Center and the retaining wall on Shar Planina Street (next to the building of the Regional Safety Directorate of food).
Among the permitted places are the retaining wall of the full-day kindergarten No. 8 “Vechernitsa”, which is located on “Grigor Perlichev” street (behind RZI), the walls of the underpass in the “Strumsko” district and the supporting columns of bridges in the municipality.
The municipality states that it is prohibited to destroy and delete campaign materials placed in accordance with the procedure specified in the Election Code, until the end of the elections, as well as the publication and broadcasting of anonymous materials related to the election campaign.
According to the instructions, within 7 days after the election day, the parties, coalitions, local coalitions, initiative committees should remove the campaign materials they put up.
Outside the time for the election campaign (from the date of scheduling the elections for the elections for people’s representatives – August 1, 2022 until the beginning of the election campaign – September 2, 2022) it is prohibited to post election campaign materials, the municipal press center also informs .
The municipality of Blagoevgrad appeals to comply with all requirements and to use only the places allowed in the order for placing campaign materials.
