“Democratic Bulgaria” at the start of the campaign
“In Plovdiv region, we did what “Democratic Bulgaria” regrets did not happen in the state. I personally cut 15% of the regional administration in Plovdiv and we were able to raise salaries without burdening the taxpayer. The state is not an employment agency. In this sense, the reform of the administration is something key, so that we can tighten the belt and get through the upcoming economic crisis more easily”. This was commented by Yordan Ivanov, former regional governor of Plovdiv from “Democratic Bulgaria” on the air of the program “Your Day” on NOVA NEWS.
Emilova: The political forces will play a dance with the voters with many promises
The politician added that “Democratic Bulgaria” sees overcoming the upcoming economic crisis, partly caused by the gas crisis, through three steps. First of all – rule of law in the state. In the second place – protection of the national interest through a European perspective and in the third place – belt tightening.
“It is necessary to tighten the public resources through reform of the administration and electronicization. A price ceiling seems absurd to me because we are a center-right political force. Then when there is a price ceiling, the goods in the store disappear. This has been proven,” said Ivanov.
