The teams of the “NELSEN cleanliness” company are working to drain the sections where no water drainage is noticeable after the heavy rain in the afternoon, which hindered traffic in Rousse during the busiest hours. The municipality commissioned the company to clean the shafts in the city more than a week ago due to the expected rainfall according to the NIMH forecast. The company is subject to a sanction if it does not fulfill its obligations under the contract, part of which is the cleaning of the drainage shafts.

Due to local floods, movement along some of the main road arteries in Ruse is blocked. Teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are regulating traffic on Lipnik Blvd., as it is one of the places where the amount of water does not allow the movement of vehicles.

At the moment, the situation in the city is normalizing, but precipitation is expected in the coming days. The company “NELSEN cleanliness” has mobilized all its available employees to deal with the consequences of the heavy rain.
