The highlights of his speech in the regional administration:
“A breath of air – the state continues to work. We are talking about crises in various segments and galloping inflation. The main priority of our government is to give a breath of air to the most vulnerable segment of the Bulgarian economy.
We are talking about micro, small and medium enterprises here. We are all united around this task and we are working hard. BGN 735 million has been provided for these enterprises by the end of this year only at the direction of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth. Of these, 600 million are expected to support businesses under the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Through our ministry, we managed to initiate the first procedure under the plan – technological modernization with a total budget of BGN 260 million. The deadline is already running, so all businesses should familiarize themselves with the program and apply by September 21. About 40,000 enterprises are registered in the Plovdiv region, 93-94 percent of them meet the definition of micro-enterprises.
