The parking lot is full, some drivers and residents of the area are abusing it, using the free spaces for days, there is no order, residents of Burgas complain

The parking lot in front of UMBAL-Burgas is complete chaos. There is nowhere to stop in an emergency if you are transporting a patient in critical condition. This alerted our reader Nikolay Hristozov to our column “Your signal to FLAGMAN.BG“.

Many drivers and residents in the area abuse the free parking spaces by leaving their cars there all day, even for days. And those in need are forced to go around in search of a place.

In 2014, a helipad was built on the southwestern parking lot on the territory of UMBAL-Burgas, but over the years it remained unusable and gradually turned into a parking lot.

Due to the disorder created, the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, proposes that the seats in front of the hospital remain free for the first 2 hours. But every subsequent hour to be billed.

Nikolov emphasizes that the previous decision that the parking lot is outside the scope of paid parking zones is ineffective. Because of the violators, the needy stop directly on the roadway, which is the only road through which ambulances and other specialized vehicles pass.
