“The campaign came a little unexpectedly. Some parties were prepared, others entered the campaign a little later. Let’s hope that they will develop their campaign relatively quickly. The start is relatively standard – messages, starting tours and meetings with citizens. This is the package. The question is what the content is. Do they have good ideas and will they be able to convince people that they are the right choice for a better future,” said PR expert Lyubomir Alamanov.
Prof. Dimitrov’s opinion before Bulgaria ON AIR is that the method of playing with the audience is not new and is not a Bulgarian patent.
“People want a little more calm and predictability from politicians. They certainly don’t want some new father with a firm hand to take the helm and ban everything else. The old concept that someone new will come and fix everything is getting old,” the PR expert believes. .
Alamanov concluded that if 50% of voters say they will not vote and they become active, things can change radically.
“Messages are a necessary condition, but they are not sufficient, because people are not idiots. They see the real actions of politicians. If a party only lets its slogan do its job, it has no chance,” concluded the PR expert.
