Dimitrovgrad requests a BGN 3.7 million loan from the FLAG Fund to pay…

Mayor Ivo Dimov proposes that Dimitrovgrad apply for a loan of BGN 3.7 million from the FLAG Fund to finance two projects on which it is working.

The municipality needs BGN 2.5 million short-term investment credit to pay the clean air project contractors who supply and install air conditioners for approved households. The repayment of the loan will be made upon final receipt of the amounts by the Project Managing Authority. It is for over BGN 11.9 million, and through it households switch from solid fuel heating to alternative sources.

The other credit, which has to be used, is for BGN 1,190,000 and for the renovation project of the “Apostol Karamitev” theater. The renovation cost BGN 2.2 million, and the municipality received an advance of BGN 645,803.

The FLAG Fund aims to support the efforts of municipalities and municipal companies in the process of implementing projects under operational programs aimed at modernizing and expanding municipal infrastructure by granting them loans.
