A day when children cross the school threshold with trepidation and embark on the adventure that we all believe education to be. On this day, it is also time to think about the future development of Bulgarian education, so that it is at the service of the children , as well as our entire society.
Bulgaria is experiencing a serious shortage of mid-level specialists. One of the reasons is that higher education is becoming more and more affordable, which brings with it the trend of an increasing lack of middle specialists that are needed for business. It is high time to pay serious attention to the development of vocational schools in our country. This will enable, on the one hand, the students to more easily navigate what their professional path will be, and on the other hand, the business will be supplied with labor.
The dual training programs that have been operating in recent years on the territory of the country have not achieved the necessary success. The traditions of this type of education have been broken for years, dual education is unknown to modern students, and this makes it unattractive. It is our responsibility to show his good sides. From Democratic Bulgaria Dobrich, we are convinced that this is the best way to lay the foundations of a profession in the knowledge and skills of adolescents already at the stage of secondary education.
Changes in education should be in the direction of helping young people to build functional literacy, so that the knowledge acquired at school can serve for the right choices in their professional development in the future.
In connection with the outlined problems in Bulgarian education, DB is committed to making legal amendments that will facilitate maximum participation of business in the educational process and help in the professional orientation of students in the middle stage of their education.
Good luck, dear children! And remember, knowledge, not grades, is the goal of education!
