With a clash of opinions on the subject of “Foreign Policy”, the pre-election debates continue in the “Hello, Bulgaria” studio. Alexander Simov from BSP, Ludmila Ilieva from “Democratic Bulgaria”, Milen Keremedchiev from “There is such a people” and Deyan Nikolov from “Vazrazhdane” spoke about the war in Ukraine, energy security, Schengen and the migrant war.

For the Euro-Atlantic coalition:

“The thread is the biggest media hoax I have ever seen. I have not seen such a division in society,” said Simov.

“Bulgaria’s presence in Europe is a constant. We must all defend it, not take advantage of it”, explained Ilieva.

“I don’t think there is such a debate. 17 years ago, when Bulgaria’s membership in NATO was signed, there was huge support”, says Keremedchiev.

“We saw that some of the Bulgarian branches of international media are already writing about the topic. Personally, I think that the Euro-Atlantic coalition will happen at the behest of the American embassy. All masks will fall,” Nikolov said.

Does Bulgaria export weapons to Ukraine:

“Bulgaria should not export even one cartridge to Ukraine. The situation is specific. We should not be a part of fueling the conflict,” said the BSP MP.

“We have an aggressor and a victim. It is natural that we are on the side of the country that is subjected to systematic destruction”, says the representative of the DB.

“This double policy of saying one thing and doing another is also visible to young children. It is obvious that Bulgaria exports weapons”, Keremedchiev claims.

Deyan Nikolov is of a similar opinion.

“It is clear to everyone that Bulgaria secretly exports weapons to Ukraine. We must maintain neutrality and take care of the Bulgarian community in the Ukrainian state”, he explained.
