Due to the great interest in the pilot edition of the “Scholarship Program 2022-2023.” Kaufland Bulgaria has extended the application period for paid internships. Until October 17th, those wishing to touch the world of modern trade will be able to submit their documents through the company’s career website: www.kariera.kaufland.bg.
“Scholarship Program 2022-2023.” is aimed at students in the 3rd and 4th year, and there are five open positions in the current edition. Within 3 months, each of the participants will become closely familiar with the work processes in several key departments – “Marketing”, “Procurement”, “Trade”, “Supply Chain Management” and “Leasing”.
The program enables each of the selected candidates to plan for themselves when to carry out their internship. The only condition is that it be a period of three consecutive months between October 2022 and September 2023. During the training, the participants will receive a competitive salary, as well as the full package of social benefits that Kaufland Bulgaria provides to all its employees. After successful completion of the program, trainees will also receive a special additional stipend.
Those wishing to take part in the Kaufland program should send a CV and solve a case study close to the daily work of the various departments. Accordingly, for “Marketing” it is connected with the Kaufland Card, for “Supply” – for optimizing the process of printing advertising posters, for “Trade” – with assortment analysis.
The topic of the case study for “Management of the supply chain” is aimed at researching the possibilities for alternative transport in the distribution logistics of Kaufland Bulgaria when delivering goods from the Central warehouse to the branches, and for “Rental” – for developing a concession area ( tenant area) in a store from the company’s network.
The decision of which of the applicants to become part of the program will be made by a three-party jury, which will review and evaluate the submitted applications. It will be composed of a representative of the “Human Resources” department and two people from the department hosting the respective scholarship holder. The five participants with the highest score will have the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the work in the relevant professional field and gain valuable knowledge that will be useful in their future career development.
