Everyone has strong and not so strong periods in their life. And apparently the last years are among the first for Martin Scorsese. After receiving ten Oscar nominations for Killers of the Color Moon, he announced that he would be making a Frank Sinatra movie starring Leo DiCaprio.

The director has promising plans for his upcoming film
We may not have been able to digest the news about him yet, but the 81-year-old director has another one – he plans to work on another project at the same time. The film will tell the story of none other than Jesus Christ.
What do we know about him? Quite a few things: Scorsese is negotiating with two actors to star in his film – Andrew Garfield and Miles Teller. According to Variety, Garfield could be playing the title role or one of Jesus’ disciples, while not much is known about Teller’s role.

The film’s plot will not be based on the gospels, but on A Life of Jesus, a 1973 book by Shuzaku Endo that deals with the life of Christ. The director himself tells America magazine that he intends to tell the story in the “traditional, chronological way”.
