Blink Twice trailer: Naughty Channing Tatum in his partner Zoe Kravitz’s film

It’s always exciting when a famous Hollywood couple decides to team up on screen, demonstrating their symbiosis with each other and beyond posing on red carpets.

We’re about to see another manifestation of this particular creative coming together very soon with the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film – Blink Twice.

The tape is the directorial debut of actress Zoe Kravitz (Lenny Kravitz’s daughter), and the main role in it is entrusted to Zoe’s current partner – Channing Tatum.

In Blink Twice, Hollywood doves collaborate to create a crime thriller with a distinctly contemporary twist, as seen in the first trailer for the production.

The story in the film revolves around the tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum), who has invited several female fans who are painfully obsessed with him to his private island.

Over the course of a weekend, King has planned a hot vacation in every sense of the word for his group of female fans, but his schedule goes off the rails and turns into a sinister trap from which the guests may not make it out alive.

The film was originally titled Pussy Island, in reference to Slater only luring women into his kinky games, but the production name was later changed to the more veiled Blink Twice.

In the tape, in addition to the favorite of Zoe Kravitz, we will see Naomi Aki, who played Whitney Houston in the biopic I Wanna Dance with Somebody, and Alia Shawkat, who viewers know from the series “Arrested Development”.

Kyle McLachlan, Haley Joel Osment and Geena Davis will appear in supporting roles.

Blink Twice was produced by Zoe Kravitz, Bruce Cohen and Garrett Levitz.

The big goal of the film is to become the summer hit of Amazon MGM Studios, which performed poorly at the global box office last year.

The studio’s top-grossing film of 2023 was Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper, which collected just over $150 million from its theatrical run.

Their other trick up their sleeve, “Saltburn,” gained popularity mostly on TikTok, but failed to attract enough audiences in movie theaters.

However, Blink Twice looks like the perfect movie cocktail for the summer, combining sweaty bodies, beautiful sea views and a satisfying crime mystery at its centre.

The world premiere of the film is on August 23.
