After 15 years, the song of the orchestra “Kamchia” resurrected in Tik-Tok and scrolled the net. It is currently #1 in the Balkans, even Tsetsa

The absurd song with a crazy clip caused a sensation, the orchestra is invited to concerts in Serbia and RSM

Where did the cult Vasco the Frog meme come from? and why did everyone on social media only now think of the song with completely meaningless lyrics and an even stupider name “Combine-Rotary”?

While we are engrossed in the dispute with the Macedonians, whether Samuel is the Bulgarian king and whose are Cyril and Methodius, we have missed a real “cultural revolution”.

It turns out that today the number 1 hit in the Republic of North Macedonia is Vasko the Frog. What’s more – tens of thousands of young North Macedonians tear their throats to the retro hit of the Bulgarian orchestra “Kamchia”, and the song is played around the clock in the discotheques and folk radio stations of the neighbors.

WATCH CLIP FROM MACEDONIAN DISCO:

However, that is not all. The lyrical hero Vasko Žabata, who has a guitar and is friends with Tsetsa-Metsa, is a sensation in Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro. Within days, the clips of the piece received millions of views, and under them raged internet wars about whether Vasko the Frog is Serbian or Macedonian.

Serbian TV even devoted a special report to this sub-cultural phenomenon. In which it is explained that the song is actually Bulgarian and folk, but “long forgotten in these lands”, see here:

Our investigation revealed that Vasco the Frog, who everyone is talking about today, has been resurrected thanks to Tik Tok. The track appeared out of the blue after 20 years and, to use the jargon, it took the net by storm.

Here are the lyrics:

We won’t fight, we won’t fight.

In the evening, when we go to bed, we will ride a bike. /x2

You hear melodies, folk songs, gypsy songs, all of them are easy. /x2

Combine harvester palavante crusher. /x2

On the guitar Vasco the Frog, he will play, dear guests just for you. /x2

You hear melodies, folk songs, gypsy songs, all of them are easy. /x2

At the microphone Tsetsa Metsata, she will sing dear guests just for you. /x2

You hear melodies, folk songs, gypsy songs, all of them are easy. /x2

Here are some of the popular posts on the topic:

The difference between Simeon the Great and Vasco the Frog is that one broke into Croatia…

Vasko the Frog and Tsetsa Metsata – an emanation of the Bulgarian soft power. God, God…

I don’t know why we haven’t appeared at Eurovision with Vasco the Frog until now

If you don’t remember the time when Tsetsa Metsata was more famous than Vasco the Frog – you are too young.

“FRAUD!!! ATTENTION!!! There is neither a guitarist nor a female vocalist in the Orc. Kamchia. People, realize that neither Vasco the Frog nor Tsetsa the Metsata exist! And have any of you heard people, melodies and gypsy songs, or not easy at all???!?! Me personally NOT! Also, does anyone know what a “palamander” is? It doesn’t come up on Google!!! There is definitely a conspiracy, please help me find it! Think of the children si, they are living in a delusion right now, just like all of us for the last almost 20 years!”

People who managed to unite the Balkans:

Stalin

– Tito

– Vasco the Frog

“Can I buy shares from Vasco the Frog? I don’t miss the bull market.”

Yesterday I finally heard “Vasco the Frog” (it was inevitable) and dug around the popularity in the Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia as well. These people are really crazy. And let me tell you, it will be karmically fair if the most idiotic song of the last 50 years erases even more idiotic tensions between our peoples.

Of all the simplicity with the euphoria of Vasko the Frog in Serbia, what impresses me the most is how the already articulated name of the lyrical hero sounds in Serbian cases.

A true linguistic gem!

Who? what? – Vasko Žabata

When? What? – Vaska Žabate

Come? Čemu? – Vasku Žabati

S who? S čim?- Sa Vaskom Žabatom

It is good that Vasko the Frog and Tsetsa Metsata are there to glorify Bulgaria in the 21st century
