Since the beginning of my mandate, the people’s problems have been a priority for me, said Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev in the program “The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov” on BNT. I am only interested in the problems that are important to people – drugs, domestic crime, human trafficking, corruption. The balance is called the rule of law. The judiciary cannot ask permission from politicians to work, he added.
There is no way we can be a democratic country and have the experience of politicians to control the judicial power, Geshev is categorical.
About his powers

On the Prosecutor General’s Investigation Mechanism
This law is unconstitutional and constitutes emergency legislation. I wonder if the four person law is privilege or discrimination.
