Death occurred hours after birth

A 29-year-old mother in Ruse died hours after giving birth to her second child, NOVA learned. The newborn baby boy is in good condition. According to the woman’s relatives, she had no concomitant diseases, the birth took place on May 23 with an operation that went normally. 12 hours later, 29-year-old Ivelina died.

A 21-year-old woman in labor died after a C-section

An hour before her death, the woman in labor wrote to her husband that she was in severe pain, and no one would pay attention to her. The relatives still have no answer as to the cause of death and blame the doctor who performed the operation. They are determined to seek the truth in court. Kanev University Hospital refused to comment until the results of the autopsy were released.

“He gave birth by section. The baby cries immediately. There were no problems with her or him and after 12 hours he simply died. She was just complaining that she was in a lot of pain and I was soothing her. He sent me a message that the sister was sleeping,” said Martin, husband of the deceased woman.

“They left her to die. A doctor will take care of her, he will go to check on her,” said Velichka Georgieva, mother of the deceased woman in labor.
