American actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who took on the role of villain Quentin Beck in the latest Spider-Man – Far From Home, has been secretly in the country this week
He filmed an advertising clip for a world-famous brand at the cinema center in Boyana, but for his guest appearance, everyone involved in the project signed contracts to remain silent as partisans under interrogation until the release of the spot, writes “Telegraph”.
Jake Gyllenhaal arrived in Sofia at the beginning of the week. His hosts have planned two days for acclimatization, followed by two shooting days. The actor was accommodated in a luxury hotel in the center of the capital across from the National Assembly building, in whose area he was spotted by watchful fans. Gyllenhaal worked with the same team that shot a commercial last year with chocolate supermodel Naomi Campbell.
The 2005 Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor in Brokeback Mountain came just two weeks after Irish professional boxer Conor McGregor visited our country. The MMA fighter was a special guest at the Max Fight 56 fight gala evening at Arena Sofia, and just a year ago he shot a movie with Jake Gyllenhaal. For Connor, this is a debut in the cinema, and the shooting took place between August 23 and November 7 in the Dominican Republic. The film is titled “Roadside House” and is a remake of the 1989 action film with Patrick Swayze. There’s no release date yet, but it’s supposed to be out next year.
